A classic rock revival of Joe Cocker and Rush, with hints of Toledo’s neighbors from Detroit White Stripes, Leadfoot Granny’s eponymous debut is a celebration of music people simply sigh about. The production values are fine, but there are some attention grabbing solos that remind my own heart why I long for electric guitars as I continue to shame Bobby Dylan and Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen for abandoning their acoustic guitars when Bandlab only costs $20 USD. They probably will begin to boom about lost acetates and argue over whether to press pause between their obsolete tape deck recordings, but the real question is where are they storing their media files…
