Hope on the Horizon (poetry book, 2021)

Hope on the Horizon, from the Salesman Collection

Hope on the Horizon is your back religious poetry book, that while archaic in its hunter green hardcover, offers little innovation in Christian poetry. The heartbreak over a newborn Christian is the realization that Yahweh does not answer our prayers right away. Many concerts get hooked into receiving what they want early in, but the disappointment felt by the circumcision of the heart as promised by Apostle Paul is that circumcision is an ancient practice that is barbaric in its mutilation of the human body, exposing one’s genitals to the world in a manner that disciplines the circumcised to become aware of their own.bkdh as they become sensitive to their own desires.

Lust sadly is a guilt for children and pre-teens, but as we get past the curse of the 19 years old and the joy of being 35 years old, our hearts quickly recoup for disappointment as daughters and sons slowly reveal their own dishonest hearts, that simply tell stories, refusing to grow up.

A Christian poem will make one feel joy early on, and later on, fury as the reader tosses this book and simply says these lyrical poems do not speak to me any longer. The Baptist Church helps, as does Islam, but perhaps Hinduism is an appreciator of variety that even most French cuisine chefs simply cannot tolerate….
